About The Position

The Pictsweet Company Distribution Center in Brownsville, Tennessee, is seeking a Shift 2 Put Away Forklift Driver to place incoming product in the correct locations. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent attendance and a strong work ethic. This position continuously works on a refrigerated dock and in a freezer, including exposure to extreme cold conditions.

Requirements

• Basic mathematical skills.
• Ability to read letters and numbers.
• Willingness to work extended hours as needed, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to continuously work on a refrigerated dock and in a freezer, including in extreme cold conditions.

Nice To Haves

• Previous forklift experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a forklift (stand-up reach truck).
• Correctly sort loads for proper counting.
• Accurately operate a computer terminal and related devices using an assigned password.
• Scan pallets correctly and place them in designated locations as directed.
• Conduct forklift inspections properly and complete the forklift inspection sheet.
• Clean the freezer in assigned areas.
• Consistently achieve the required weekly productivity rate.
• Train in AIB and GMP procedures.
• Follow safety procedures.
• Maintain good attendance.
• Wear required personal protective equipment, including a freezer suit, gloves, toboggan, and safety boots.
