About The Position

We are seeking a talented AEC sales enablement professional to join our team and support our engineers and planners within the Business Development Organization! This position is open to remote and/or hybrid locations across the RS&H footprint. As a Pursuit Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting sales enablement efforts and driving success for moderate to complex projects. This position combines strategic thinking, creative storytelling, problem-solving, and technical precision to help win new work and strengthen client relationships. Your work will directly influence pursuit success and client relationships.

Requirements

  • Have a bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field and seven years of progressive marketing experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Bring AEC industry experience and a strong understanding of industry terminology, practices, and competitive positioning. Translate technical concepts into clear, client-focused messaging that strengthens pursuit strategies.
  • Initiate/facilitate productive meetings that encourage diverse perspectives, strategic thinking, and collaborative problem-solving, and help teams align on a unified pursuit plan.
  • Show strong self-direction, accountability, and collaboration; apply feedback effectively; and deliver high-quality work independently while proactively communicating progress, risks, and resource needs.
  • Apply strategic thinking, critical analysis, and creative problem-solving to develop and refine winning proposal and presentation strategies.
  • Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, set clear priorities, adapt to shifting deadlines, and deliver accurate, high-quality work on time.
  • Maintain accurate, consistent proposal content, client data, and pursuit records in CRM and other enterprise databases.
  • Demonstrate strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills; build trusted relationships; address challenges constructively; and influence teams toward shared goals.
  • Be proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign and Acrobat.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience coordinating RFP and RFQ processes for both public and private sector clients, focusing on corporate, health & science or federal.
  • Knowledge and experience with the SF 330 process.
  • Certified professional services marketer (CPSM) and/or other industry-specific certifications.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with pursuit managers, architects, interior designers, engineers, and business developers to develop winning strategies and capture plans that address client challenges and support successful outcomes.
  • Lead RFQ/RFP responses by managing concurrent deadlines, ensuring compliance, and turning strategy into compelling, client-focused deliverables.
  • Develop persuasive narratives, resumes, and project descriptions tailored to client needs for proposals, presentations, and marketing materials.
