About The Position

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Pursuit Manager to own the front end of our growth engine—from generating awareness and capturing leads to managing CRM workflows and leading pursuits through close. This role ensures a seamless process from first touch to project win, while strengthening our digital presence and brand in the market.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 3–7 years of experience in pursuit management, marketing, or business development—preferably in construction
  • Hands-on experience managing HubSpot CRM, including workflows, automation, and reporting
  • Strong writing, editing, and communication skills
  • Experience managing proposals and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Self-starter with strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite or similar tools is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Plan, create, and manage content across company social media platforms
  • Showcase projects, company culture, safety initiatives, and community involvement
  • Collaborate with project teams to gather photos, updates, and success stories
  • Monitor engagement metrics and adjust strategy to increase visibility and brand awareness
  • Ensure brand consistency across all digital channels
  • Support website updates and content improvements to enhance user experience and drive lead generation
  • Monitor website performance and recommend improvements to increase inbound inquiries
  • Help develop campaigns and content that attract target clients and project opportunities
  • Review website inquiries and inbound leads daily; respond, qualify, route, and track all opportunities
  • Own and manage HubSpot CRM, including pipeline setup, contact management, and data integrity
  • Build and maintain workflows, lead scoring, and automation within HubSpot
  • Generate reports and dashboards to track lead sources, conversion rates, and sales activity
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client and opportunity records
  • Identify trends in inbound inquiries and recommend strategies to improve lead quality and conversion
  • Maintain and update the opportunity pipeline, including tracking bid schedules and key milestones
  • Facilitate go/no-go decision process with leadership
  • Coordinate early-stage communication between business development, estimating, and operations teams
  • Ensure proper handoff of qualified opportunities into active pursuit phase.
  • Lead and manage the full pursuit lifecycle from qualification through proposal submission and interview coordination
  • Coordinate with estimating, preconstruction, and operations teams to develop compelling proposals and presentations
  • Develop and maintain proposal content, boilerplate materials, and project qualifications
  • Track win/loss outcomes and maintain historical pursuit data.
  • Analyze CRM and marketing data to continuously refine strategy and improve win rates
