About The Position
Support maintenance purchasing by communicating with vendors, researching parts and suppliers, negotiating cost-effective options, placing and expediting purchase orders, maintaining inventory and maintenance records, and assisting with facility repair and custodial supply needs.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong organization and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills
- Proficient computer skills
Nice To Haves
- 5+ years purchasing experience preferred
- Tooling/manufacturing knowledge; mechanical aptitude preferred
Responsibilities
- Purchase parts/materials and services per policy
- Research suppliers and negotiate pricing
- Maintain inventory and stock records
- Enter work orders in COGZ
- Assist with facility repairs
- Manage custodial closets and cleaning crew supply needs
