About The Position

Join our team as a Purchasing Support Specialist, where you will play a crucial role in handling clerical and administrative tasks within the purchasing department.

Requirements

  • Experience with purchase orders and administrative support.
  • Knowledge of purchasing or administrative duties from the construction industry is a must.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems is a plus, specifically Sage.
  • Experience in purchasing or administrative roles within the construction industry.
  • Familiarity with purchase orders.

Responsibilities

  • Perform material take-offs for the building of modular units.
  • Purchase materials for all projects.
  • Schedule materials ahead of production requirements.
  • Order shortages on a daily basis.
  • Purchase standard materials for cycle counts.
  • Maintain purchasing project files.
  • Advise the Purchasing Manager of all price changes.
  • Assist in inventory entry and price out inventory write-ins.
  • Provide the Production Department and other departments with accurate information regarding special situations affecting material availability.
  • Provide the Sales and Engineering Departments with technical information on special materials.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
