About The Position

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Purchasing Specialist II to support a fast-paced planning and procurement team. In this role, you will serve as a key link between vendors and internal teams, ensuring smooth purchasing operations, continuity of supply, and effective communication across departments. Requirements

At least 1 year of experience in purchasing, supply planning, or a related field
Hands-on experience with SAP ERP (inventory, reporting, purchase orders)
Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables and data analysis
Experience managing purchase orders and vendor relationships
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a data-driven approach
Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive

Responsibilities

Create, manage, and track purchase orders in SAP
Communicate with vendors regarding order status, lead times, and issue resolution
Monitor supply risks and analyze lead time constraints to ensure continuity
Perform data analysis to identify inventory gaps and improvement opportunities
Develop and maintain vendor forecasts using SAP and Excel
Track open orders and proactively resolve delays, discrepancies, and issues
Support invoice reconciliation and resolve purchase order discrepancies
Manage a shared team inbox and respond to inquiries promptly
Conduct ad hoc analyses to support purchasing and planning decisions
Partner cross-functionally with warehouse, marketing, procurement, and planning teams
Act as a central coordination point, ensuring alignment across stakeholders
Communicate key insights, risks, and opportunities to internal teams
