About The Position

The Purchasing Specialist is responsible for managing the flow of supplies and specialty products across multiple locations to ensure products are available for patient care in a safe, efficient, and cost-effective manner. This is a full-time position working Monday-Friday 6:00am-2:30pm out of our Plymouth location. Twin Cities Orthopedics is an operating division of Infinite Health Collaborative (i-Health), a group of local medical practices, owned and led by its physicians, on a mission to give patients more control over their healthcare.

Requirements

High School Diploma/Equivalent.
Minimum two years of experience in materials management related position such as purchasing, inventory management, or hospital supply chain.
Ability to Comply with company policies, procedures, practices, and business ethics guidelines.
Comply with all applicable laws and regulations, (e.g. HIPAA, Stark, OSHA, employment laws, etc.)
Demonstrate prompt and reliable attendance.
Work at an efficient and productive pace, handle interruptions appropriately, and meet deadlines.
Prioritize workload effectively.
Communicate respectfully and professionally in face-to-face, phone and email interactions.
Apply principles of thinking to define problems, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

Responsibilities

Manages the purchase order process, receiving, and replenishment of all clinical supplies for multiple TCO clinics.
Continually monitors and manages inventory levels to ensure adequate supplies for daily operations.
Identify, resolve, and communicate product availability issues to appropriate personnel.
Coordinates inventory management activities.
Assists with value analysis and product trials as requested.
Oversees and coordinates physical inventory process at the designated sites.
Manages par levels and maintains accuracy within the inventory system.
Assists with new user setup, training, and staff questions regarding MotionMD.
Monitors product expiration dates.
Assists with new clinic/new room set up; Stocking of exam rooms/procedure rooms.
Work independently with minimal supervision.
Other duties as assigned.
