About The Position

Responsible for maximizing the value of goods and/or services purchased from external suppliers in support of Kodak Alaris businesses. Will interface with internal clients, to define requirements and specification for goods/services, identify and evaluate appropriate sourcing options and award contracts / orders as required. This position will have part time responsibility for Purchasing Operations, Compliance and Data Management efforts.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement global sourcing strategies
Build effective working relationships with the global business team members (product management, development, manufacturing, marketing, supply chain, finance, legal, etc.)
Lead Supplier evaluation, assessment and sourcing (including Request for Quote) processes
Integrate best practice sourcing / procurement and contracting process to insure that Kodak requirements are met while obtaining optimal price, quality, delivery, and support
Drive Supplier relationship management, performance tracking/reporting. Identify and implement long term, total cost reduction and spend management opportunities.
Market / Product analysis and benchmarking; cost analysis
Negotiate supplier contracts / orders covering requirements, price, and contract terms and conditions
Utilize ERP systems to manage all aspects of the purchasing process
Planning for contract Mfg./forecasting monthly work to outside supplier
