About The Position

The Receiving Clerk supports daily resort operations by managing the receiving, inspection, and coordination of all incoming goods. This role ensures that food, beverage, and operational supplies are received accurately, meet the resort’s quality standards, and are properly documented and distributed to the appropriate departments. The Receiving Clerk plays an important role in maintaining strong vendor relationships, organizing inventory storage, and efficient communication across the property.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in receiving, inventory control, or hospitality operations preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to lift and move deliveries and stand for extended periods.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Basic computer and recordkeeping skills.
  • Must have a valid drivers license.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the timely and accurate receiving of all deliveries, including food, beverage, and operational supplies.
  • Verify orders against purchase orders and packing slips to ensure accuracy.
  • Coordinate the distribution of received items to the appropriate departments.
  • Inspect incoming deliveries to confirm they meet Wildflower Farms’ quality and product standards.
  • Identify and report discrepancies, damaged goods, or incorrect shipments, and assist in resolving issues.
  • Maintain accurate receiving records and prepare daily receiving logs for food, beverage, and general supplies.
  • Ensure all documentation is properly completed and filed in accordance with resort procedures.
  • Communicate with culinary, purchasing, housekeeping, and other departments regarding delivery updates, shortages, or product concerns.
  • Support efficient coordination to ensure departments receive the supplies they need to operate smoothly.
  • Foster positive and professional relationships with vendors and delivery personnel.
  • Assist in coordinating delivery schedules and addressing any shipment-related concerns.
  • Assist with maintaining clean, organized, and efficient storage areas.
  • Follow best practices for product rotation, storage, and inventory management to reduce waste and ensure product integrity.
  • Adhere to all safety, health, and sanitation guidelines when receiving and storing products.
  • Maintain compliance with resort policies and applicable regulatory standards.
