ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for working with the Purchasing and Receiving Team for our two properties and is tasked with managing inventories by performing proper storage, upholding cleanliness and provisioning to multiple outlets. Receive, Inspect and follow HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points) policies and logs (where applicable) of all incoming product. Report returns of inferior goods and shorted delivery of goods to Manager or Supervisor, noting and adjusting invoices (may include taking a photo of the product and labels) Stocking and organizing product using a FIFO (First in, First out) method. To include dating of product. Cleanliness of all trash rooms, bins and surrounding areas Daily emptying of all dumpsters from trash rooms, to include recycling Maintaining a clean work space and loading dock area (inside and outside), this includes snow removal and ice melt of loading dock ramps, when necessary Maintaining and cleanliness of departmental vehicle(s) Uphold cleanliness of coolers and freezers Receiving and delivering product in a timely and safe manner, also be in compliance with all health department, safety and HACCP policies and standards (storage, rotation, temperatures) and ensuring the highest quality of product Responsible for delivery of items from the gate house or loading dock to the appropriate associate/department (i.e.; F&B, Accounting, Athletic Bldg.) Daily monitoring and distribution of CO2 and propane tanks, ensuring that safety procedures are being upheld Keep control of assets by maintaining a safe and secure work area Disposal of grease dispensers to loading dock area Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards or any other problems to Supervisor or Manager Assist with monthly inventory, when needed Rotating, labeling and dating product to ensure minimal loss of product Comply with all departmental check lists, procedures and handbook policies

Requirements

  • Basic experience in Food & Beverage industry
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to learn new systems
  • Basic computer skills
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license
  • Must have the ability to lift heavy product on a consistent basis
  • Must possess strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Competency in dealing with members and fellow employees under circumstances requiring tact and diplomacy.
  • Must possess the ability to work effectively under time deadlines.
