This role is responsible for managing food inventories, orders, and costs. Key duties include maintaining organized records, posting invoices, conducting inventory audits, completing requisition forms, monitoring stock levels, and verifying received inventory. The agent will also receive and process deliveries, handle damaged or incorrect items, troubleshoot vendor issues, and oversee returns. Adherence to food safety and handling policies, as well as monitoring PAR levels for food items, are crucial. The position also involves reporting safety concerns, completing safety training, following company policies, maintaining professional appearance and confidentiality, and protecting company assets. Effective communication, both written and verbal, and positive working relationships with colleagues are expected. The role requires compliance with quality assurance standards, visual inspection of information and equipment, and computer proficiency for data entry and retrieval. Physical requirements include standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods, and lifting/carrying objects up to 50 pounds. The role also involves movement in various spaces and over different surfaces, as well as reaching, bending, and twisting.
