The Purchasing and Pricing Coordinator is responsible for achieving purchasing objectives, maintaining price accuracy, and coordinating vendor relationships across multiple locations and supplier lines. Through inventory management, vendor negotiations, and cost analysis, this role ensures that pricing oversight remains a consistent priority across all operations. By aligning procurement activity with organizational goals and maintaining strong supplier relationships, the Coordinator plays a key part in driving both operational excellence and profitability. Requirements

  • 1 to 5 years of experience in purchasing, pricing, or a related role
  • Familiarity in accounting principles, financial data analysis, and inventory management
  • Proficient in Excel, Power BI, and ERP systems
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Sharp eye for numerical inconsistencies
  • Solid understanding of supply chain and logistics methods
  • Collaborative, accountable, and able to manage time effectively
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
  • A high school diploma or GED is required

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with international or overseas procurement
  • An associate degree in business or a related field

Responsibilities

  • Manages end-to-end purchasing across multiple locations, including creating purchase orders, reconciling vendor returns, resolving discrepancies, and maintaining accurate ERP data for product lines, pricing, and inventory.
  • Optimizes inventory by evaluating overstock and deadstock reports, negotiating vendor costs, and ensuring compliance with distributor contracts.
  • Oversees pricing accuracy by maintaining price lists, verifying authorized adjustments, monitoring errors, and analyzing daily margin reports to support profitability and competitiveness.
  • Provides cross-functional support through team backup, employee training, and participation in special projects related to inventory analysis, sales error resolution, and data reporting.
