About The Position

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Requests the quotes to different freight companies, review and approve the best rate that meets our requirement in spend and transit time for the raw materials and packaging components.
Works on different reports from Access, Visual and other systems to provide updated delivery dates for Raw Materials and Packaging materials.
Responsible for tracking the delivery dates of the purchase orders for Raw Materials, and Packaging, to assure the orders will be delivered on time.
Works on different reports to Expedite or postpone the Raw materials and Packaging components delivery dates, ensuring that the inventory and stock levels are met and maintained.
Provides the documents require for the Receiving department (Packing list, Certificate of Analysis, etc.)
Extensive follow up with vendors to ensure deadlines for delivery are met.
Leads different projects as assigned. 
Other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Associate degree required
Bilingual (English and Spanish) required
Working knowledge in Visual system or any other equivalent system.
Good verbal, written and interpersonal skills
Strong Microsoft Office ( Word, Excel, Outlook) computer skills
Detail-oriented when accomplishing a task or assignment.
Work proactively to promote teamwork.
