About The Position

Sodexo InReach is seeking an experienced Purchasing Manager to lead purchasing strategy and vendor management for our branch network. Operating primarily remotely within the Central Time Zone, you will oversee compliance, financial implications of purchasing decisions, and ensure product availability across our operations. Requirements

  • Purchasing Manager or related background in purchasing, supply chain, or procurement
  • Strong understanding of vendor management, product life cycles, and financial implications of ordering decisions
  • Experience with compliance requirements and risk management in a purchasing or procurement context
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to evaluate volume pricing, vendor terms, and cost structures
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Central Time Zone preferred for remote candidates

Responsibilities

  • Lead purchasing strategy across assigned accounts, managing the full product lifecycle from sourcing to delivery
  • Oversee vendor relationships and resolve manufacturing, delivery, and supply chain issues proactively
  • Analyze order volumes and pricing structures to identify cost savings and negotiate favorable vendor terms
  • Ensure compliance with all purchasing policies and mitigate liability and risk in the ordering process
  • Manage product availability to meet customer and branch demand consistently
  • Serve as escalation point for purchasing-related issues and partner cross-functionally with fulfillment and operations teams
