The Purchasing Manager is responsible for managing purchasing day-to-day activities and establishing strategic purchasing processes and procedures. This role involves maintaining relationships with Trade Partners, participating in contract negotiations, and ensuring the flow of accurate information during the bid process to trades, sales, and construction. The Purchasing Manager will answer questions and resolve issues related to options, budgets, specifications, rebates, vendor purchase orders, spec changes, and model frame walks. This position contacts trade partners for each activity code applicable to their market to ensure timely completion and closing of all homes in accordance with company goals. The role collaborates with leadership and the Purchasing team, serving as a resource on cost-saving strategies, national/regional supply, distribution agreements, and Quarterly and Annual business objective goals.
