This full-time, on-site position reports to the Vice President of Supply Chain and Operational Excellence. The role involves strategic planning, assessing future supply and transportation logistics, and ensuring product availability. The Purchasing Manager will operate at the intersection of operations and leadership, collaborating cross-functionally with departments such as Engineering, Operations, Sales, Sourcing, Product Development, and Maintenance. The position requires leveraging the scale of the procurement system and utilizing critical thinking and problem-solving skills to drive operational excellence.
