About The Position

Requirements
- An Associate’s degree OR two years equivalent experience
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in purchasing and vendor management, specifically in the machining, heavy equipment, automotive, or spare parts industry
- Prior experience of mechanical and electrical component procurement a MUST
- Hands on experience buying/planning in an integrated ERP/DRP environment, preferably using Oracle or SAP
- Expert knowledge of Excel
Nice To Haves
- Profession Certifications (ISM, APICS) preferred
Responsibilities
- Maintain key accounts by administering purchase orders, contracts, and request for quotes.
- Provide leadership and guidance to a team of global buyers.
- Responsible for understanding all aspects of the Business Rules involving order processing, inventory, purchasing, and Material Requirements Planning (MRP).
