About The Position

This is a Full-Time Purchasing Manager position with a salary range of $32.20 - $51.05 Hourly Wage. The role operates on a Hybrid work model, meaning it involves both remote work and in-office presence. The Purchasing Manager will be responsible for strategic leadership in supply chain and vendor management, operational oversight including IT asset management and audit readiness, and data-driven decision making through market analysis. The role also involves personnel management, including supervising, training, and mentoring staff, as well as driving continuous improvement in asset management and lifecycle processes. A criminal history check and drug test are required for this position.

Requirements

Proven experience directing and coordinating procurement, warehousing, inventory control, and distribution functions.
Demonstrated success in overseeing the full lifecycle of vendor engagements.
Ability to perform advanced research on market trends, pricing, and supply chain forces to inform decision-making and ensure agency financial viability.
Experience supervising professional and office support staff, including hiring, delegating assignments, training, and performance monitoring.
Strong working knowledge of federal and/or state laws, regulations, and agency rules governing procurement.
Expert oral and written communication skills with the ability to convey complex policies and procedures to diverse stakeholders.
Proficient in deductive reasoning and data analysis to interpret results, report findings, and drive process improvements.
