About The Position

Alamo Group Ag Americas, LLC. is currently recruiting for a Purchasing Manager to join the Alamo Group Ag Americas Team in Selma, Alabama. We’re looking for a Purchasing Manager to lead our procurement team and play a key role in strengthening and modernizing our supply chain. This is an opportunity to step into a highly visible leadership role where you can make a direct impact on cost, performance, and supplier strategy across the organization.

Requirements

• 10+ years of purchasing or supply chain experience in manufacturing
• 5+ years of leadership experience
• Strong negotiation and supplier management skills
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems
• Knowledge of Lean, Kanban, or JIT principles
• Strong business acumen and decision-making skills

Nice To Haves

• Experience in agricultural or industrial equipment
• Experience supporting new product launches or transformation initiatives

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of buyers and planners
• Drive supplier performance across cost, quality, and delivery
• Negotiate contracts and lead sourcing strategy
• Support new product launches and supplier readiness
• Improve inventory performance and operational efficiency
• Partner with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Finance
• Lead cost savings and continuous improvement initiatives
• Oversee purchasing operations within our ERP
