About The Position
Assist with receiving of incoming product. Ensure product is stored in its proper location. Issue product to the various departments, maintain storeroom for cleanliness, and assist with the inputting info into Eatec inventory system. Assist with inventory. This position involves driving a company vehicle and/or company insured vehicle. Responsible for maintaining food supplies in the Storeroom; in a clean and organized manner. Rotate all merchandise to maintain freshness. Maintain walk in coolers in a clean and orderly manner. Assist with period end food inventory. Input information into the inventory/purchasing system (EATEC). Ensure floors are swept and mopped daily or as often as needed. Receive food products and stock accordingly.
Requirements
- High school diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)
- A minimum of 3 months related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- A valid driver’s license is required.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) and annual MVRs, according to company guidelines.
- Follow safe, defensive driving practices always, obey all traffic laws, regulations, signals and markings, use a seat belt, and follow Company policies and procedures, including the Substance Abuse Policy.
- Never drive while under the influence of drugs, alcohol or medications that may impair your ability to operate a vehicle safely.
- Report any accidents immediately and cooperate fully with insurance claims investigations.
- Good work ethic, moral integrity and able to get along with many personalities.
- Must have knowledge of food storage.
- Must have excellent computer skills and ability to learn and retain information.
- Must withstand cold temperatures.
- Must maintain a valid driver’s license and be able to drive small trucks and vans.
- Must have excellent communication skills.
- Must have the ability to multi-task.
