About The Position

The F&B Purchasing & Receiving Clerk for Trinity F&B (Fort Worth Convention Center) will be responsible for properly receiving, storing, and issuing all food and beverage products in the food, beverage, and general storeroom.

Requirements

• The person in this role will work inside and outside, in different weather conditions.
• Must be able to work in walk-in refrigerators and freezers for extended periods of time.
• Previous experience with safe operation of forklift
• Good verbal & written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Verifies what food and beverage deliveries are per specifications and quality levels - Verification of product from order guides of quantities, pricing, sizes, counts, weight tolerance, and acceptable expiration dates.
• Operate lift truck or hoist shipments from shipping and receiving platform to storage area.
• Signs invoices with proper signature.
• Communicates shorts on invoices.
• Oversee activity in general storerooms.
• Directly responsible for sanitation in the Food and Beverage storage areas.
• Assist with completion of monthly inventory process.
• Assist with any administrative duties for the Purchasing & Receiving department as needed.
• Assist other departments as necessary.
