About The Position

The Purchasing Assistant is responsible for assisting the Director of Materials Management in the supervision and the management of the materials management operation. The assistant will input orders and receive supplies and equipment from the hospital and surrounding clinics and conduct sound inventory management techniques and customer support operations for the department.

Requirements

Two (2) years' experience in inventory control and hospital purchasing preferred.
Computer experience is preferred.
Training is provided.

Responsibilities

Assisting the Director of Materials Management in the supervision and the management of the materials management operation.
Inputting orders and receiving supplies and equipment from the hospital and surrounding clinics.
Conducting sound inventory management techniques and customer support operations for the department.
