Requirements

Education: High School Diploma or GED; preferred
Experience: 2+ Years' Experience in field or related area
Computer Skills: JD Edwards, Microsoft Office (Strong Excel Skills)
Certification/Licenses: None specifically required

Responsibilities

Project Material Expediting daily, while maintaining good, professional working relationships with suppliers.
Maintain and submit current expediting reports weekly.
Obtain and forward copies of Packing List, Bills of Lading & MTR’s to Receiver (Based on advanced receiving procedure)
Coordinate activities with other department leads (i.e. Procurement, Material Management, etc.)
Assist in resolution of MDR’s (Material Discrepancies)
Work with supply chain material control resources & project management to prioritize the delivery of material to maximize the release of spools.
Attend project meetings as needed (internal or client meetings)
Assist procurement.
Take pro-active approach to the tasks at hand.
