About The Position

This position is responsible for assisting Purchasing Manager, preparing production reports, and other administrative duties as directed.

Requirements

  • Minimum of two (2) years of office experience
  • Minimum of two (2) years of college is preferred, but an additional three (3) years work experience can substitute for college
  • Must be very proficient in Microsoft Office with the ability to create spreadsheets
  • Must be knowledgeable in purchasing
  • Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary.
  • Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions.

Responsibilities

  • Process requisitions and purchase orders
  • Research past due orders and inquire with vendors on orders
  • Filing of purchase orders
  • Special projects as directed
  • Maintain inventory of select items
  • Manage contracted inventories as needed
  • Negotiate best possible pricing terms
  • Compiles with all SQF procedures
  • Reports any food safety problems to a member of management of SF Practitioner
