About The Position

Purchasing & Warehouse Assistant – Full-Time Rose is seeking a reliable and motivated Purchasing Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will support our Purchasing Department by receiving, storing, issuing, and shipping materials and equipment to our service locations. We’re looking for someone who is dependable, detail‑oriented, and committed to maintaining accurate records and an organized workspace. This position works closely with the Purchasing Manager and other office staff, so strong teamwork and communication skills are essential. Requirements

  • Basic math and writing skills
  • Ability to use communication tools (cell phone, email, internet applications)
  • Computer proficiency, including MS Windows and PDA/handheld technology
  • Strong client‑relationship skills: Active listening Clear verbal and written communication Ability to remember client needs and preferences
  • Attention to detail and strong observational skills
  • Ability to achieve the required score on the Wonderlic test
  • At least 18 years of age
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • U.S. citizen or legally authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Availability to work before 8am, after 5pm, and/or weekends as needed
  • Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
  • Excellent communication and customer‑service skills
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend English
  • Strong organizational and time‑management abilities
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
  • Must live within the service area or be willing to relocate
  • Ability to lift 60 lbs. of tools or equipment up to 50 inches in height
  • Ability to perform routine warehouse and building‑maintenance tasks

Responsibilities

  • Receive, store, and distribute materials, tools, and equipment
  • Prepare and ship orders to multiple service locations
  • Maintain accurate inventory and documentation
  • Assist the Purchasing Manager with daily tasks and office coordination
  • Keep the warehouse clean, safe, and organized
  • Perform basic building‑maintenance tasks, including: Sweeping and mopping floors Maintaining orderly storage areas General upkeep to ensure a clean and functional workspace
