The Purchasing Assistant performs various duties to help out the Purchasing Department. Tasks include: Entering orders into the system. Printing and filing Purchase Order Receipts and Vendor Invoices Verifying vendor acknowledgements and invoices for accuracy Managing EDI exceptions and errors Assists Buyers and Rebuyers with various projects. In order to maintain departmental accuracy, the Purchasing Assistant identifies and resolves issues such as incomplete order forms. The Purchasing Assistant verifies payments and credits with the Accounting Department. Other duties as assigned.
