About The Position

We are seeking a Purchasing/Sourcing Specialist to support purchasing and procurement operations. This individual will be responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies, identifying competitive suppliers, negotiating pricing and terms, and supporting the RFP process.

Responsibilities

Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to achieve competitive pricing, quality, and service.
Manage and support RFP processes, including evaluating potential suppliers.
Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with contractual requirements and expectations.
Evaluate purchasing needs related to cost, quality, inventory levels, and supply chain operations.
Identify opportunities to consolidate purchases and leverage bulk purchasing to negotiate cost savings.
Ensure purchasing activities comply with applicable regulations, policies, and guidelines.
Partner with internal teams to understand purchasing requirements and sourcing needs.
Support specialized purchasing categories, including commodities or raw materials, as needed.
