About The Position

Northcentral Telcom (NCT) is seeking a dynamic full-time Purchasing Agent - Materials Buyer in Menomonee Falls, WI. This role involves sourcing top-quality materials, negotiating deals, assessing inventory levels, creating purchase orders, collaborating with internal teams, analyzing costs, maintaining a vendor database, and addressing delivery issues to ensure compliance and support NCT's success.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalency
2+ years in a procurement or buying role
Proficiency in database, order processing, and MS 365 software
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Must be able to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

Assess inventory levels to prevent shortages or overstock.

Create purchase orders and diligently follow up to ensure timely deliveries.
Work closely with internal teams to understand their purchasing needs.
Analyze costs to identify savings.
Maintain a robust vendor database and foster strong relationships.
Address delivery issues and ensure compliance in documentation.
