Primary duties will include: • Perform the day-to-day activities of clerical support for the purchasing department. This work will include frequent interaction with team members and departmental managers to determine their needs for goods and services. • Serve as meeting scheduler & scribe (keeping up with notes, action items, deadlines, etc.) • Track status of orders & verify confirmations against purchase orders, while researching discrepancies & making corrections. • E-mail customer care and production/shipping with delivery dates on out/low parts scheduled for delivery • Serve as primary backup to the Purchasing Specialists in the department. • Update NetSuite with price changes • Purchase order & usage reports maintenance • Set the highest ethical standards for self and others. • Other duties as assigned
