About The Position

Responsible for the ordering of materials, supplies, and/or equipment, inventory control and the follow through with vendors on shipment and delivery for all KabaFusion's various locations.

Requirements

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software; Excel and Word
  • Ability to work under pressure with high volume
  • High school diploma
  • Registered pharmacy technician
  • Minimum two years of experience working in a Home Infusion Pharmacy environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity and knowledge of CPR+ data system a plus
  • Experience working in a purchasing environment a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Using contracted wholesalers and distributors, place material/equipment purchasing orders for the various KabaFusion locations
  • Ensure GPO or direct purchase costs are loaded correctly with the wholesaler, distributor and each KabaFusion site
  • Ensure invoice discrepancies for each site are completed in a timely manner and make necessary adjustments in CPR as appropriate.
  • Partner with each site to ensure adherence to purchasing and receiving procedures so that purchase orders are created and received correctly.
  • Follows up on placed orders to ensure that materials are shipped and delivered on promised dates.
  • Enters data for new products ensuring correct costs, revenue codes, supplier(s) and site are accurate
  • Follow up on sites with entry of product location(s) in CPR+ and creation of shelving label with product information and reference codes for easy retrieval
  • Maintains par levels for all KabaFusion locations to ensure proper stock is kept.
  • Monitor and work with each site to keep active inventory clean by identifying missing shelf locations, inventory reference numbers, par levels and inactivating items not stocked.
  • Create and produce purchasing reports as requested
  • Review monthly inventory reports and submit discrepancies to the Corporate Purchasing Manager.
  • Assist sites with monthly inventory and reporting as needed
  • Maintains records for easy reference and retrieval
