This position is responsible for calculating figures for food inventories, orders, and costs. The role involves maintaining clear and organized records for reports and invoices, posting invoices using computer programs, and conducting inventory audits to determine levels and needs. The Purchaser will complete requisition forms for inventory and supplies, notify management of low stock, and verify/track received inventory. Responsibilities include reconciling shipping invoices and receiving reports, receiving, unloading, and processing deliveries, and refusing unacceptable items. The role also involves troubleshooting vendor delivery issues, overseeing returns, and adhering to food safety and handling policies. Monitoring PAR levels for all food items is crucial. Additionally, the position requires reporting accidents and safety concerns, completing safety training, adhering to company policies, maintaining a professional appearance, protecting company assets, and communicating effectively. This includes preparing and reviewing written documents, answering telephones professionally, developing positive working relationships, supporting team goals, and complying with quality assurance standards. The role involves entering and locating information using computers, standing/sitting/walking for extended periods, and moving/lifting objects up to 50 pounds. It also includes moving through confined spaces, navigating uneven surfaces, and performing other reasonable duties as requested.
