This role is responsible for monitoring stock levels, identifying purchasing needs, and collaborating with planners and other purchasers. The Purchaser/Buyer will research potential vendors, track orders for timely delivery and accuracy, and maintain records of invoices and contracts. They will issue purchase orders, follow up on lead times and pricing, and verify received parts. The position requires adherence to Min Max levels and updating them as needed, while maintaining professionalism and courteous interactions with internal and external stakeholders. A key aspect of the role is holding vendors accountable to expectations and ensuring world-class customer service.
