Under the supervision of the Transportation Supervisor, the Driver will be responsible for pre-trip and post-trip inspections, connecting and disconnecting hydraulic hoses and electric cables. They will scale loads both heavy and light and record tickets on daily logs. This role requires operating equipment safely, adhering to all traffic rules and regulations, and understanding operating procedures for all three load outs. The driver will actively prevent debris dropping from trucks due to overfilling and work collaboratively to minimize sort stoppages. Adherence to company policies, safety procedures, and the continual use of required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is mandatory. The driver must be able to fulfill essential job functions in a consistent state of alertness and safety.
