Headquartered in Irvine, CA, Shur-Lok manufactures fastening systems with superior locking devices for critical requirements including engine module assembly, structural assembly, rotor blade attachment, and aircraft engine shaft and spindle applications. Operations at the Irvine location include CNC Machining, CNC Waterjet Cutting, Laser Marking, Heat Treating, NDT, and EDM. This Level One position involves working with assistance. Level one punch press operators interpret work instructions and routers as well as gather related work documents. They perform basic press operation once the job has been set up, including in-process inspection, which requires the use of calipers, micrometers, etc., basic shop math, and print reading. This role is typically for individuals with 0-1 years of experience.
Requirements
- The ability to read and write English.

Responsibilities
- Work safely under functional safety guidelines such as PPE and equipment interaction.
- Basic Machine Attending
- In Process Inspection (Visual & Functional, Recording)
- Perform First Part Buy-off (First Article Inspection)
- Visual Management of Machine (Stamps & Dies etc.)
- Production Paperwork/Operation Audit
