About The Position

PCC Fasteners offers comprehensive product lines that cover virtually every aerospace fastening application, producing fasteners, precision components, tooling, and engineered system solutions for various performance-driven markets. Headquartered in Irvine, CA, Shur-Lok manufactures fastening systems with superior locking devices for critical requirements. Operations at the Irvine location include CNC Machining, CNC Waterjet Cutting, Laser Marking, Heat Treating, NDT, and EDM. This Level Two Punch Press Operator role involves performing all punch press operations independently, including full press setup, locating and loading tooling, and setting stroke/ram parameters. The operator will also assist Level One operators with in-process inspection and equipment setup, and demonstrate advanced troubleshooting for die issues, collaborating with quality and engineering to meet customer specifications. This role typically requires 2-3 years of experience.

Requirements

• The ability to read and write English.
• Advanced Print Reading.
• Advanced Shop Math.
• Advanced Inspection Processes (Tools & Measurements).
• Advanced Understanding of Machine Function.
• Basic Tooling Knowledge.
• Communication Skills.
• 2-3 Years of Experience.

Nice To Haves

• GED or High School diploma preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Work safely under functional safety guidelines such as PPE and equipment interaction.
• Perform full machine setups (Loading Dies & Coils, etc.).
• In Process Inspection (Visual & Functional, Recording).
• Perform First Part Buy-off (First Article Inspection).
• Visual Management of Machine (Stamps & Dies etc.).
• Production Paperwork/Operation Audit.
• Provide leadership and training to lower level employees.
