About The Position

We are looking for a highly skilled and organized Press Leadperson to join our team. The Press Leadperson will play a critical role in ensuring the safety, efficiency, and quality of our Press department. This position involves leading and training employees, maintaining compliance with safety and operational procedures, and optimizing Press Setup and Run. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of press operations, a commitment to safety, and the ability to lead and train effectively.

Requirements

In-depth knowledge of press setup and operation processes.
Ability to effectively lead and train others.
Familiarity with various computer applications and manufacturing processes.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Detail-oriented with a commitment to safety and quality.
Problem-solving skills to address process improvements.
Possess or be willing to purchase the required inspection and hand tools upon acceptance of the job offer.
Ability to lift 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
Previous experience in a metal stamping environment.

Responsibilities

Lead the press setup and operation processes.
Facilitate training for employees to ensure they have the necessary knowledge and skills.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations during press setup and operation.
Collaborate with other team members to optimize press room processes for efficiency.
Maintain accurate records of training and process improvements.
Assist in the development of training materials and resources.
Monitor and assess employee progress.
Communicate effectively with team members and management.
Other duties as assigned.
