About The Position

This role involves setting up, operating, and adjusting machines and equipment to produce quality parts. The operator will use various tools and equipment, including calipers, micrometers, and tape measures, to ensure quality standards are met. Responsibilities include reading and interpreting blueprints, making minor adjustments, and using hand or power tools to alter shape, improve fit, or smooth finish. Maintaining a clean and safe work area, adhering to safety rules, and working efficiently to meet safety, quality, and production standards are crucial. The position also requires promoting a team-oriented atmosphere and performing other tasks as assigned by the leadership team.

Requirements

Ability to set-up, operate, and adjust machines and equipment.
Proficiency in using calipers, micrometers, and tape measures.
Ability to read and interpret drawings or work orders.
Ability to read/interpret blueprints and make minor adjustments.
Skill in using hand tools or power tools for finishing.
Knowledge of safety rules and procedures.
Ability to maintain good housekeeping practices.
Ability to work efficiently and meet production standards.
Ability to promote a team-oriented atmosphere.

Nice To Haves

Experience with punch press and press brake operation.
Forklift operation experience.

Responsibilities

Perform any other task asked by the leadership team.
