Requirements

Valid Driver’s License or similar classification to operate a pump truck required.
3 years of required commercial driving experience
Ability to work and drive in a variety of weather conditions.
Ability to lift 50 lbs.
Must be located in the greater Sorrento Area

Nice To Haves

CDL License preferred
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
5 years preferred commercial driving experience
Experience with towing trailers (16-foot or larger) preferred
Forklift experience preferred

Responsibilities

Operates pump truck on a pre-determined route; safely controls the pump as required to collect receptacles and deposit their contents in the truck.
Performs and documents pre-operation safety checks on vehicle prior to embarking on route.
Refuels truck and performs basic maintenance.
Facilitates proper maintenance and mechanical service on truck by appropriate mechanics.
Transports waste to the proper location for processing and/or disposal.
Notifies dispatchers and/or supervisors of delays, unsafe sites, accidents, breakdowns, or other issues and documenting the same.
Maintains logs of pickup times, daily mileage, and dump logs.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
