About The Position

The Cat Rental Store Pump Rental Specialist will be involved in the rental process in varying degrees from asset acquisition to disposal.  The Pump Rental Specialist must be able to manage multiple priorities at one time, work as a team member, and perform independently with little supervision.   Relationships will be maintained with suppliers’ personnel, customers, Allied sales representatives, rental coordinators, service managers, technicians and equipment manufacture as well as other dealer personnel.  Individuals must embrace new technologies and be comfortable using new software and hardware products.  The Pump Rental Specialist will demonstrate initiative, resilience, sense of urgency, commitment to teamwork, enthusiasm for customer service, and dedication to finding solutions in an efficient manner.  A valid driver’s license is requirements for this position. Essential Responsibilities & Expectations Maximize rental opportunity is assigned territory Maximize new and used equipment sales Maximize parts and service sales in assigned territory Maintain accurate customer data records Collection of past due invoices Monitor and report product performance and competitive activity Provide liaison support between customers, TTCo, and vendors Establish and maintain personal working relationships with customers Negotiate mutually agreeable settlements on customer complaints Establish and develop new accounts Other duties as assigned by supervisor Uphold the Core Values of Safe and Secure, Stronger Together, People of Integrity, and Driven to Serve. Requirements

  • High school diploma or the equivalent
  • Previous sales and working knowledge of the pump solution rental industry is required.
  • Experience using personal computers and basic typing skills are required.
  • Candidates must possess the ability to quickly acquire the following required Skills and Competencies:
  • Advanced selling skills
  • Relationship building skills
  • Problem resolution skills
  • Basic mechanical and parts identification skills
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Basic computing skills including Microsoft Office
  • A valid driver’s license is requirements for this position.
