About The Position

We are seeking a motivated and skilled individual to service industrial vacuum pump systems in a production environment, utilizing hands-on technical expertise and problem-solving skills. The role involves using various tools to teardown, prep, and assemble systems while ensuring product quality, with opportunities for independent decision-making under supervision. Successful candidates must pass a background check and drug screening.

Requirements

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Prefer 2-5 years of experience in a mechanical field or a related area.
• Must pass a mechanical aptitude assessment
• Must pass a drug screening and criminal background check.

Nice To Haves

• Electrical panel wiring preferred
• Experience reading schematics preferred
• Soldering experience a plus

Responsibilities

• Disassembles/assembles Industrial Vacuum Pump Systems at floor stations.
• Tests and calibrates parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product specifications.
• Uses hand tools and power tools to assemble units according to product specifications.
• Identifies units that fail tests or tolerance levels and repairs as necessary.
• Works under immediate supervision. Primary job functions may require exercising independent judgment.
