About The Position

We are seeking a motivated and skilled individual to service industrial vacuum pump systems in a production environment, utilizing hands-on technical expertise and problem-solving skills. The role involves using various tools to teardown, prep, and assemble systems while ensuring product quality, with opportunities for independent decision-making under supervision. Successful candidates must pass a background check and drug screening.

Requirements

Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within the mechanical field.
Uses instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
Strong verbal/written communication and basic math skills
Strong skills in troubleshooting
Requires successful completion of a written and hands-on mechanical aptitude assessment.
Requires successful completion of Drug Screening and Criminal Background.

Nice To Haves

Prefer 2-5 years of experience in a mechanical field or a related area.
Basic equipment electrical experience preferred

Responsibilities

Disassembles/assembles Industrial Vacuum Pump Systems at floor stations.
Tests and calibrates parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product specifications.
Uses hand tools and power tools to assemble units according to product specifications.
Identifies units that fail tests or tolerance levels and repairs as necessary.
Works under immediate supervision. Primary job functions may require exercising independent judgment.
