About The Position
Master Pumps & Power, a SunSource company, is hiring a Pump Mechanic in Grapevine, Texas. The company has been an industry leader for over 45 years and stocks more than 8,000 pumps, offering custom design, fabrication, and on-site services. The Pump Mechanic inspects, diagnoses, repairs, and rebuilds pumps and related equipment; performs preventative maintenance and troubleshooting; assembles and disassembles rotating equipment; operates specialized repair and testing equipment; and installs and maintains pump systems. The role calls for mechanical aptitude, familiarity with pump and motor assembly, and the ability to use pressure gauges, flow meters, and hydraulics. Experience expectations vary by level. Candidates should be able to own and maintain personal tools and demonstrate problem-solving, attention to detail, reliability, teamwork, and client service.

Responsibilities
- Inspect, diagnose, repair, and rebuild centrifugal, gear, and diaphragm pumps and related equipment, including motors, compressors, and valves.
- Perform routine preventative maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Assemble and disassemble rotating equipment.
- Operate specialized repair and testing equipment.
- Install and maintain pump systems.
