About The Position

A leader in the maritime industry specializing in the design and manufacture of products and solutions for marine and industrial applications. We are seeking a skilled Pump Mechanic to join our team and contribute to our mission of delivering top-quality service and reliability to our clients. We are looking for an experienced Pump Mechanic to perform the disassembly and reassembly of Deepwell Vertical Pumps who also has Field Service experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience in the maritime industry.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Deepwell Pumps
Minimum of 2 years' Field Service experience
Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
Proficient using hand and power tools and precision measuring tools
Good problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Good communication skills
Must be committed to quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

Disassemble and reassemble Deepwell Pumps according to specifications and company standards.
Pump Field Service - whenever necessary
Conduct thorough inspections of pumps
Clean, repair, and replace parts as necessary to ensure optimal pump performance.
Perform precision measurements and alignments during reassembly.
Will be trained and sent on service calls to troubleshoot/repair various equipment.
Maintain an accurate record of all work performed, including parts used and time spent.
Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
