About The Position

The Pump Hand is responsible for the installation, operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of pumps, fluid transfer equipment, and related systems at customer locations. This position ensures equipment operates safely and efficiently while delivering exceptional customer service and supporting operational goals.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required.
Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills required.
Valid driver's license and acceptable motor vehicle record required.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience with pumps, fluid transfer systems, oilfield services, industrial equipment, or mechanical maintenance preferred.
Experience operating forklifts and other material handling equipment preferred.
Forklift certification preferred.
DOT Medical Card may be required depending on job duties and vehicle operation requirements.

Responsibilities

Install, operate, inspect, troubleshoot, and maintain pumps and fluid handling equipment.
Monitor equipment performance and identify potential issues before failures occur.
Perform routine preventive maintenance and minor repairs on pumps, motors, hoses, valves, and related equipment.
Assist with rig-up and rig-down of pumping equipment at customer locations.
Ensure all equipment is operated in accordance with company safety policies and customer requirements.
Complete daily inspections, maintenance records, and service reports accurately and timely.
Load, unload, and transport equipment and materials as needed.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including company vehicles and job sites.
Communicate effectively with customers, supervisors, and team members regarding equipment status and job progress.
Respond to after-hours service calls and emergency situations when required.
Support inventory management by tracking parts, supplies, and equipment usage.
