About The Position

This is a temporary part-time position for a Gas Bar Attendant at the Theodore Agro Centre. The role involves delivering legendary customer service, handling petroleum duties, merchandising, cashiering, stocking, and general housekeeping tasks. The ideal candidate is at least 19 years old, has or will obtain Serve it Right certification, possesses retail customer service experience, and is willing to work various shifts including days, evenings, holidays, and weekends. Physical ability to perform tasks such as heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs), climbing ladders, and kneeling is also required.

Requirements

19 years of age or older.
Serve it Right certification or willingness to obtain it.
Honest and trustworthy.
Results-oriented.
Retail experience in customer service.
Willing to work all shifts scheduled including days, evenings, holidays and weekends.
Physically able to do heavy lifting of 50 lbs, climb ladders and kneel.

Responsibilities

Provide full service at the fuel pumps including dispensing fuel, washing windows and checking oil.
Upsell and cross-promote products, offer guests assistance and recommendations with acquired knowledge of liquor, agro, and petroleum products.
Stock shelves and face products within the Liquor Department and the store.
Process transactions through the Point-of-Sale system.
Perform exterior and interior housekeeping, and opening and closing procedures.
