About The Position

This role is responsible for performing HTC and Full System Assemblies. The technician will read blueprints, calipers, and other measuring instruments, recording dimensions and other details on production logs. They will maintain an organized and clean work area, including equipment and tooling, and ensure a safe working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. Collaboration with other facility teams such as Purchasing, Quality, and Engineering is expected to address and resolve assembly/test problems quickly. The technician must comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures, utilize safe work habits, and perform other assigned work-related tasks. Additionally, they will support continuous improvement initiatives, assist in identifying process improvements, contribute to team-based problem-solving, and ensure compliance with facility-specific safety protocols and product standards.

Requirements

  • Must possess a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in mechanical assembly, industrial machinery assembly, or a related manufacturing role required
  • Ability to pass a drug screen & background check
  • Ability to work overtime and occasional weekends as required
  • Ability to solve practical problems and work with limited standardization
  • Working knowledge of manufacturing environment safety practices
  • Understanding of quality assurance concepts, typically acquired through in-house training
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment
  • Adaptability and willingness to be cross trained
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced manufacturing setting
  • Ability to work in non-climate-controlled facility
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, push/pull, and repetitive movements for up to 12 hours daily
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Nice To Haves

  • Forklift operation experience preferred
  • Material handling experience preferred
