About The Position

The Division of Pulmonary & Critical Care at the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) seeks 3 board certified / board eligible faculty physicians (open rank) for our expanding Lung Transplant Program. These positions are located in Milwaukee, WI at Froedtert Hospital. The role involves active involvement in the evaluation of patients considered for lung transplantation and ongoing care of post-transplant patients. This includes both inpatient and outpatient care. Inpatient responsibilities focus on managing transplant candidates and post-transplant patients during hospitalization, collaborating with surgery, critical care, infectious disease, and other specialty teams. Outpatient duties include pre-transplant assessments, longitudinal post-transplant follow-up, and participation in multidisciplinary transplant clinics. The position offers a balanced mix of clinical care, teaching, academic development, and research within a supportive environment dedicated to expanding and strengthening lung transplant services.

Requirements

ABIM Board Certification/Board Eligibility in Pulmonary & Critical Care
Eligible for unrestricted medical licensure in Wisconsin

Lung Transplant training/experience highly preferred

Responsibilities

Active involvement in evaluation of patients being considered for lung transplantation
