About The Position
Holy Cross Health’s Catherine Yardley Comprehensive Pulmonary Center is seeking to recruit a Board Certified or Board Eligible Pulmonologist to join our medical group team of highly experienced pulmonologist/critical care medicine physicians. Our Pulmonary team strives to provide quality patient experience while offering the most current treatment options and services. Services include navigational bronchoscopy, EBUS, robotic bronchoscopy, Zephyr valve insertion, COPD Clinic: pulmonary function testing, pulmonary rehab program, respiratory navigators, sleep medicine: referrals, interpretations, patient support groups, and an RN lung nodule navigator. This role is full-time. On call rotation is seven days every fourth week and covers the inpatient census which is, on average, 15-25/day. Inpatient APP Support is available.
Requirements
- Florida licensure and DEA required
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine
Responsibilities
- Provide quality patient experience while offering the most current treatment options and services.
- Perform services including navigational bronchoscopy, EBUS, robotic bronchoscopy, Zephyr valve insertion.
- Manage COPD Clinic services: pulmonary function testing, pulmonary rehab program, respiratory navigators.
- Handle sleep medicine referrals, interpretations, and patient support groups.
- Collaborate with RN lung nodule navigator.
- Participate in a seven-day on-call rotation every fourth week, covering an inpatient census of 15-25 patients per day.
