About The Position

Infinite Medical P.C. is a nationwide network of advanced practice providers and specialty clinicians delivering proactive care to residents in skilled nursing and long-term care facilities. The organization partners with MedElite Healthcare Management Group to provide compassionate, personalized care and advance senior care through innovation and collaboration. The Pulmonology Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant provides comprehensive care to patients with respiratory conditions, including asthma, COPD, pneumonia, and other pulmonary disorders. The role involves working with a dedicated healthcare team and requires 100% travel.

Requirements

At least 6 months of experience in pulmonology or a related clinical setting.
DEA license.
Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license.
Master’s degree in Nursing.
Degree from an accredited program.
Must be able to lift at least 20 pounds and stand, walk, or work on feet for up to 6–8 hours per day.

Nice To Haves

One year of experience in pulmonology or respiratory care.
Experience documenting in an EMR, such as Epic, Cerner, or PCC.

Responsibilities

Conduct physical assessments and medical screenings of patients with pulmonary conditions.
Diagnose and treat respiratory illnesses, including asthma, bronchitis, and pneumonia.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patients’ medical histories, symptoms, and lifestyle factors.
Prescribe medications and therapies, such as inhalers, antibiotics, and pulmonary rehabilitation programs.
Educate patients and their families about disease management, medication adherence, and lifestyle modifications.
Perform diagnostic procedures, including spirometry, chest X-rays, and arterial blood gas analysis.
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
