About The Position
A thriving healthcare system is seeking a BE/BC Pulmonary Critical Care Physician to join their team in the Michigan City, IN area. This is a pulmonary-focused practice with a weekly clinic schedule, alternating 1:4 inpatient rounding, and a 1:4 call schedule. The role offers potential outreach opportunities to surrounding communities, with an average outpatient volume of 18–20 patients per day. Inpatient volume varies based on hospital census. The healthcare system is large and established, with over 1,100 MDs, DOs, and APPs across 12 hospitals and more than 240 locations. They offer a broad range of primary and specialty care services and have a strong focus on patient care, physician collaboration, professional development, and community service. Physicians have a voice within the organization with opportunities for leadership and advancement.
